At the request of a friend I made a chessboard for a gift for someone who had a set of chess pieces made of Ebony and East Indian Rosewood. The pieces deserved a better board. The first photo is a bit lightened artificially. The fram is made of Rosewood with a small bit of Ebony on the inside.
