These are some oil lamps I made from some smaller pieces of Buckeye Burl.  Only one has oil in it and is lit.  This was a good way to use small pieces of a beautiful and interesting wood that might have been thrown away as scrap otherwise.

I made this round box of a small hunk of curly walnut, a bit of leftover Birdseye Maple and bit of Ebony.  I did some off-center turning and wood burning to decorate this goofy little box.
