This is my second Redwood table made of an all-natural-edge piece of Redwood Burl. After many hours of hand sanding and some special finishing techniques, I got the grains in the wood to glisten. I took the later photos out in the sun, which made it glisten even more. The last two photos are of when I was gluing the top to the base with a couple of shims to account for the lack of flat surface. You can get an idea of what the Redwood looks like before I did the finishing.






This is a bowl of Spalted Tamarind. It's a neat and rare wood. I've only seen it twice.
