This is a box I made of some shop scraps.  It's made of quarter-sawn White oak, Bloodwood, Purple Heart, Figured Crotch Walnut that came from gunstock extras, and a spike handle made of Ebony.

The knob is made of two turned pieces of Ebony to simulate a spike.  I made this for someone I've nicknamed Spike- therefore the spike.

This is a little footstool I made for under my desk at work.  Nothing like a footstool when you have short legs.  It's quarter-sawn White Oak with a bit of stain to bring out the designs.
