The first three pictures are of a desk-top planet I made to order.  I made if of Spalted Maple with a Blood wood ring, a Bloodwood hurricane spot and a Walnut Base.  This was sold as soon as it was finished.

The next three are of another planet made with the same woods, but the Spalted Maple I used here is extremely rotted.  It gives the appearance of a planet that has been pummeled by asteroids- especially in the third photo. 

The next two photos are of another asteroid-damaged planet made to order.

The last two photos are of a planet with a ring made with Purple Heart instead of Bloodwood.  The hurricane was cut in half when it came up against a brilliantly constructed walled city.  Either that, or my Bloodwood plug was too short.  I stand by my first hypothesis.
