… The well-drawn characters gradually complicate the narrative, including Cash’s girlfriend Skylar Meade and a news reporter who knows more about the Cutler twins than she probably should. The story ultimately shifts to center Jake, whose riveting scenes entail painstakingly shadowing people, suffering nightmares of his past, and rescuing someone who’s been taken captive. While the culprits behind other crimes, such as money laundering and another homicide, are easy to identify, that opening double murder remains an engrossing whodunit throughout. While the text includes violent imagery, the author rigidly avoids profanity, going so far as to censor a few bits of dialogue.

Edge of my seat read
I spent 3 days on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who did it... I couldn’t put it down and I couldn’t figure out the culprit. A must read if you love a good thriller/suspense novel! I love how the Author incorporated so much about the small town history and local flare. Can’t wait for the second book in the series!

One of those books that's hard to put down
The storyline left no room for boredom. When there wasn't action there was a very interesting buildup to the plot, and you got to know the characters without long, drawn-out dead spots. This really helped keep my attention. I'd find myself constantly checking the number of pages in the next chapter, wondering if I had time to keep reading before my wife started nagging at me. The author's attention to detail and descriptive prose was excellent. Action-packed, exciting and excellent storyline. I'm absolutely looking forward to the sequel - but this one's going to be hard to out-do.

If you like suspense then this is a must read!
This book is a perfect blend of action, mystery, historical reference and intrigue. The author makes you feel like you are right there participating especially since the story locations exist in Western New York. You will also come away from this doubting what you know about historical points in time. I can't wait for the sequel Jake Charm!

Real action page turner
I loved the action of this book, a real page turner. Realistic action packed storyline. I could not put it down. I'm excited to have discovered another amazing author, can't wait to read more.

Suspense!
It was a great read for my escape from the every day ! It made my heart race at times and kept me absorbed in the storyline. Can't wait to read the rest of the series!

Great fun to read!
Jake's return is the first opportunity that author Matt Kreutz has to bring you up to speed on Jake Chambliss. Jake wants justice for his friends, but first has to uncover the truth: The good, the bad, and the ugly about what's been happening back home since he's been away from Pendleton, NY. Jake's quest for truth ratchets you to the top of a roller coaster of suspense, which then careens twisting and turning through the book toward justice. Although fictional, you'll find some references to "very familiar" characters from upstate NY. Best of all, while on Jake's ride through the maelstrom of pursuing and dodging the bad guys, you'll get an unflinching glimpse into regional politics, corruption and violence, and how these groups intermingle alliances and vendettas at the same time. A great read: Family Friendly, but not for the faint of heart.

An interesting read with good action and intrigue
It was a very interesting read and a good story that moved right along, with interesting twists and turns in the action.

Great local interest!
Loved that it takes place what I consider “local”. Characters seemed real through the author’s description. Intriguing premise with lots of action.
I could actually "picture" exactly where these actions take place, some took place where I spent my childhood.
Author has an interesting and believable take on what happened and then expands creatively.
Hope he does more of these! I read all three and would certainly read more!

Action packed page turner.
This is truly a page turner, full of action and relatable characters. As we learn more about each character in this book, you can't help but feel connected. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next book in the series.

​Untamed Fury III
This was by far the best of the series yet. It truly brought all the characters together. No cliff hangers left. Amazing finish. I highly recommend this series for a relatable action packed adventure story.

I love how the author uses local real life settings. He makes you feel like you are actually in the story involved in the action, it keeps me wanting more of Jake Charm! Its a great escape from the every day, makes your heart race!

This book is amazing. I love good mystery books and typically can figure out the ending, however this book surprised me. You will totally connect with the characters and the twists will leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this book and series for any mystery lover.

Classy
This is Matt Kreutz's best work yet! It was impossible for me to put down until it was finished. I particularly loved the local reference and the real life feel of the adventure. I highly recommend it.

Great addition to the sequence as we learn more about the characters and their strengths and weaknesses. Another page turner. Enjoyed the separation of characters as each attempted to solve their own cases. Highly recommend this author.
