We have some new chicks on the farm
These are Easter eggers. Two will lay blue eggs, two will lay green eggs, and one will lay red eggs. We had to special order them, and Ayesha figured out how. There were 6 originally, but one jumped from Levi's arms. It was stunned and dead looking until I lifted her and she ran. But three days later, she was dead. I think she had a broken hip. That's what it felt like. Must have been bleeding internally. These photos are from their first day in the outdoors. We busted out our old chicken tractor and set it up next to the coop. That way the chicks and Chickens can get used to each other, the chicks don't get eaten or henpecked to death. The video is from about a week and a half after they came to our house.
